Ceasar has kidnapped the horrible singing bard Cacofonix from the little gaulish village where Asterix lives. Nobody knows why Ceasar kidnapped him. But Asterix must save him from Ceasar. Asterix taking hes good friend Obelix with him to Ceasar and they find out that he got Cacofonix in a gift. Ceasar dont like Cacofonix singing and he want to give him to the lions in Colloseum. Asterix and Obelix have to be gladiators to get in and save Cacofonix so they get into the gladiator training and getting gladiators. They get Cacofonix back and holding their good old parties with boars.
I think the book is very good and having some good drawings. (its a comic)
